[Victory for the Happy Science Group Maintained] High Court Ruling on Damages Lawsuit Against Hiroshi

Due to a series of slanderous comments made by Hiroshi Okawa on YouTube and in magazines, which resulted in the discontinuation of the sales of the DVD of the movie Daybreak, in which Hiroshi appeared, as well as the unauthorized transfer of music equipment by Hiroshi, New Star Production Co., Ltd. filed a lawsuit seeking damages (filed on September 10, 2019). On March 21, 2024, the Tokyo High Court upheld the district court's ruling (victory for the Happy Science Group) and ordered the defendant, Hiroshi, to pay 170,000 yen in damages to New Star Production Co., Ltd.
