Happy Science Group's View on 'Hiroshi's Official Opinion'
(Last Update: )
On the afternoon of October 7, Hiroshi once again uploaded a video titled 'Hiroshi's Official Opinion' on YouTube. This video is a trivial 'opinion' with many vulgar expressions, not worth commenting on, but since some factual errors remain uncorrected, we hereby state our group's view as follows.
It was Hiroshi who started it
Hiroshi claims that our group's official opinion is 'the first wave of harassment' as if it were harassment. However, it was Hiroshi who initiated the slander. On August 23, 2018, Hiroshi uploaded 'This is Hiroshi. I started YouTube!' and then released a video titled 'Hiroshi's Life Full Throttle!! *Caution: Controversy!!* Did Hiroshi Break Away from Happy Science?!' on October 2, necessitating the correction of many factual errors. Therefore, we had no choice but to issue a statement.
Hiroshi could not deny his 'on leave' status
In the current video, Hiroshi repeatedly says things like 'I declared I quit.' However, he remains silent about the fact revealed in the previous official statement that he met with the personnel department and our group's attorney on September 12 this year and received a document titled 'Guidance on Procedures for Leave (Attached to Personnel Department),' agreeing to 'leave' rather than 'resignation.' This means he could not deny that he agreed to the leave.
Equivalent to confessing to neglecting teachings for 18 years
Hiroshi also states, 'I was raised as a successor until I was 12, so (the teachings) are all in my head,' and 'I can give much higher quality sermons than some staff.' This is equivalent to confessing that he has neglected Happy Science's teachings for 18 years since graduating from elementary school. During these 18 years, President Okawa has published over 2,000 books, covering a wide range of fields such as law, political science, international politics and diplomacy, international economics, fiscal studies, business administration, international finance, art theory, acting theory, and film theory, with the number of publications now reaching 2,400. As a result of President Okawa's relentless efforts as a World Teacher, a vast array of Buddhist truths forming the foundation of future civilization has been created. Despite this, Hiroshi is content with the level of knowledge he gained in elementary school, stubbornly clinging to his own ideas without accepting or incorporating others' thoughts, showing a lack of capacity and humility. This reveals Hiroshi's arrogance. Hiroshi's lack of effort in learning is evident in his labeling of the Eightfold Path as 'internal terminology.' In the video, Hiroshi says, 'It's not appropriate to post internal terminology, words only believers understand, where the general public can see them,' citing the Eightfold Path as an example. However, the Eightfold Path is a representative Buddhist term used since ancient times.
Does not understand the religious value in entertainment
Hiroshi claims, 'Acting is my main profession,' and 'I work as a movie producer and actor.' However, all of these roles were given within the films produced and directed by President Okawa. The same goes for 'having received awards in New York'; these were not achievements given to Hiroshi personally. Hiroshi's problem lies in boasting about achievements born from the generous support of the President and the group as if they were his own. He also states that the group's social evaluation is limited, saying, 'The group has not gained broad support from the public.' However, this shows that Hiroshi does not understand how precious religious value is. The origin of art is religion. Religious rituals have evolved over time into various performing arts such as theater and dance. The universal value required in entertainment is that 'gratitude and repayment to the noble deities and Buddhas must flow.' Hiroshi's failure stems from his incorrect assertion that 'entertainment and religion are different.' Even after Hiroshi left our group's entertainment and film business, new projects continue to emerge in the film field for the next ten years, with new screenwriters and actors resonating and gathering.
If you want work, sweat for it
Hiroshi has not been able to clearly refute our group's view based on facts. In the end, he repeats his usual 'begging' by saying, 'Please give me work.' If he wants work so much, he should attend auditions himself, sweat, and seize opportunities through his own efforts. If he continues to rely on others to prepare opportunities for him without making the necessary efforts, Hiroshi will only face repeated setbacks.
