Crisis of Bankruptcy - President Ryuho Okawa's Guideline of the Heart 192 -

President Ryuho Okawa's work 'Guideline of the Heart' is serialized in the Happy Science's publication Monthly 'Happy Science'. Posters are displayed at branches nationwide, and it is widely known as the monthly face of Happy Science.

This month's 'Guideline of the Heart' discusses the mindset necessary for personal growth to avoid falling into bankruptcy. We spoke with Director Hiroshi Tsutsui of China Seishinkan open_in_new, who conducts various training sessions including management training, about the mindset needed to overcome management difficulties and the threat of unemployment.

Currently, due to the impact of the new coronavirus from China, many companies are going bankrupt, and the number of people losing their jobs is increasing. I believe this month's 'Guideline of the Heart' teaches us that this adversity is 'an opportunity to refine our abilities.' In this harsh adversity, it is important for us to acquire the 'laws of success' and elevate our 'management enlightenment.'

Those days when I was defeated by fear

Before I became a monk in Happy Science, I ran a company selling educational materials. When I was cornered and couldn't secure contracts, my fear would transmit to others, making it even harder to get contracts. Then, I would be tempted by the idea that 'selling high-priced products to anyone would turn things around' or I would almost fall for easy money-making schemes... At such times, I encountered President Ryuho Okawa's writings and learned that there is a 'law of success' that aligns the righteousness of the heart with business.

(A sincere heart and an altruistic heart are what truly lead to success...!)

Since then, my work has become a place for practicing my faith. By thoroughly reading President Okawa's writings and holding the belief that 'the path will surely open,' I have been able to overcome difficult situations.

Opening the path with faith and self-help

In the current COVID-19 recession, it is easy to want to blame the environment. However, the 'law of success' is the opposite. By reframing the inability to proceed as 'an opportunity to reassess management' and making self-help efforts, new ideas can emerge, and we can find the 'seeds of prosperity' within ourselves and our organizations.

As individuals, I want to increase my sense of responsibility and become a useful person who is easy to ask for work. I believe we are entering an era where not only abilities but also mental aspects will be valued.

And the most important thing is faith. The Buddha wishes for us to 'overcome this crisis and carve out the future.' For those who believe in the Buddha and make efforts, the path will surely open, and that perseverance will become the light of the world. Let's overcome this together.
