Ryuho Okawa's work "Guidelines of the Heart" is serialized in the Happy Science's publication Monthly 'Happy Science'. Posters are displayed at branches nationwide, and it is widely known as the monthly face of Happy Science.

This month's 'Guidelines of the Heart' discussed the preciousness of youth and the value of experiences of setbacks in one's younger days. I spoke with Shizuka Yokomori from Happy Marriage Counseling Center about human bonds, love, and human missions.

Important things in life

From this month's 'Guidelines of the Heart', I learned once again that in today's rapidly changing society, pure love for the opposite sex, family bonds, and connections between people are very important.

Unrequited love can also be a trigger to awaken the importance of 'beauty', 'eternity', and 'spiritual quest' in life, nurturing a rich and meaningful life.

Let's grasp our mission

In modern times, there are those who marry and those who do not, but what is important is to understand 'what the true self is', to utilize one's strengths and virtues, and to realize the duty to lead those connected to oneself to happiness.

I have had the opportunity to meet many people, and I feel that each person has a wonderful shining soul. I have witnessed many of them learning the teachings of the heart, grasping their strengths and missions, and opening up new paths.

I hope everyone learns this teaching, does not forget to express gratitude to the divine, believes, and feels the preciousness of love, while walking a rich life.
