The "Guide to the Heart" written by Ryuho Okawa is serialized in the Happiness of Science's booklet Monthly 'Happiness of Science'. Branches nationwide also display posters, and it is widely known as the monthly face of the Happiness of Science.
This month's theme is "The Existence of Men and Women." Why is there a difference between men and women? I asked Director Naoyuki Iwamoto of Headquarters, Mirai-kan open_in_new.

Reflecting on the Heart of Deities

For humans, the "existence of men and women" is something close at hand, but I felt it is a very deep and fundamental theme.
We tend to take for granted the things that are present in our daily lives. However, the sun, air, and the existence of men and women are all created by deities. After reading this "Guide to the Heart," I felt that I am being asked to reflect humbly not only on the negative aspects of gender issues but also on the positive aspects and the question of "Why did deities create men and women separately?"

The Secret to Prosperity is the "Heart of Love"

When I think about it, I believe that deities wish for humans to "prosper." The existence of "different beings" such as men and women allows for mutual learning and the birth of new values.
What is important for that is "love." If we have a "heart of love" that seeks to recognize each other and harmonize rather than fight over differences, happiness and prosperity will be realized.
I think it is important to always return to the fundamentals and consider the "Heart of Deities."
